EVANS 'GREEN TICK' PRODUCTS
Many customers are now asking for chemicals that are 'Safe to the Environment' or 'Environmentally Friendly'. These expressions can be misleading and difficult to substantiate as all chemicals have some impact on the environment.
In response to this, Evans Vanodine, our main chemical supplier have devised a unique system for assessing the overall environmental impact of a product. The is known as the Wright Environmental Impact Rating (WEIR) system. The system takes into account 7 criteria which include the formulation, manufacturing process, use and disposal of a product.
A number of Evans products have been award the 'Green Tick' under this system. These products have been marked with the symbol shown.
